High quality Indian food in a great location. Have had the biryani multiple times and it’s one of my favourites in there city. It has lots of mint leaves, caramelized onions and lots of spices. Such a fragrant dish, and not too spicy. Service is great, and the decor inside is nice as well.

It was my first time ever trying Indian food. I went there for lunch. The restaurant was empty yet employees were working. I was greeted by the waiter, easy and freely chose my seat and relaxed. The waiter was so professional and helpful. He told me all the info I needed and answered all of my ridiculous questions about the menu. I had Chandni Chowk Chicken Tikka for starter and OH MY GOD. It was absolutely exquisite tender, well cooked and juicy, flavorful, and colorful . It made me almost full, but since I am a pig, I ordered Lamb Biryani. I always heard it from people that a good Indian Bistro is the one that can cook and serve Biryani properly. Let me tell you, it was F*cking Fantastic The smell, the color, the taste, and the amount were just excellent . Just a tip; never let the empty space inside an Indian restaurant fools you. It doesn't mean they do not have customers or they are not good. You go in there, and they will amaze you. STRONGLY RECOMMEND

Soft kofta and good tasting sauce, a bit on the saltier side than sweeter. I wish the chilli naans had fresh green chillies instead of the dried red ones. A bit too much butter on the garlic naans, and they’re slightly burnt, however, still pretty soft and good. Ambience was pleasant as music was not too loud. Not busy at all on a Sunday evening. Quick service and the server Manish was friendly.

My wife and I ate a late lunch at Delhi 6 on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The menu is table a la carte and not table d'hôte; the sides such as salad, naan bread, and rice are also separate dishes. We ordered: Samosa with chutney Mushroom masala Lamb curry Peas and onion pulao (i.e. rice) Garlic naan bread I enjoyed the samosa because the outside dough covering was just the right thinness (or thickness), crispy, and fresh. I also liked how the potato filling inside the samosa was cut into bite sized pieces. For me, biting into the just right thinness and seeing the inside ingredients chopped to the appropriate size speaks to the restaurant caring about the preparation of food. The opposite samosa would be one with an overly thick covering and inside potato filling cut into chunks, which I have unfortunately eaten plenty of and generally find lend themselves to falling apart during the first bite resulting in needing to quickly bend over so it doesn't spill all over or disintegrate on my clothes - not pleasant at all. The mushroom masala was excellent; it contained plenty of mushroom, and more mushroom than sauce. The lamb curry was also excellent. The rice was fine, but next time I would order the plain rice to go with the lamb curry because the flavour of the pea and onion pulao is lost when covered in lamb curry. I may have ordered the wrong type of rice to go with curry i.e. the pulao is meant to be the accompaniment for a different dish (e.g. a tandoori dish and not a curry dish). While I tasted bits of chopped garlic in the garlic naan bread, I thought it was a touch on the oily side and also too thin and airy. I had to fold the bread over before dipping it in the curry sauce so that the bread wouldn't bend under the weight of the curry. Not the end of the world by any means, but more dense and doughy naan bread for dipping would be preferrable. Our server was friendly, and came by often to check on things and to refill our water glasses. The total meal was $64.50 before taxes and tip. Definitely pricey from a dollar perspective for lunch, but the food came across as prepared (and not fast and lazy) so worth it in terms of value. I believe the menu is the same for lunch and dinner (but did not confirm). I recommend anyone who goes to this restaurant to go in at least a party of two (think of it like dim sum where it is better to go in a bigger group so one can try a little of everything).

The food here is undeniably good—thoughtfully prepared, well-executed, and leaning toward the high-end spectrum. This isn’t your indulgent, greasy street food that hits the spot in a pinch; rather, it’s the refined equivalent of a well-curated Delhi dining experience, something you’d expect in a reputable Connaught Place restaurant. It’s elevated, precise, and crafted with care. That being said, portion sizes leave a little to be desired. While the flavors are rich and the execution commendable, a slightly more generous serving would enhance the experience. For those looking to indulge, I highly recommend the Lamb Kabab or the Chicken Tikka Butter Masala. Opt for a high-medium spice level to truly appreciate the depth of flavor. That's the only reason I rated it 4.

We visited this restaurant on Tuesday, September 16th. We discovered that they have ladies’ night every Tuesday, offering a 25% discount on house drinks and appetizers for ladies only. We took advantage of this deal and were delighted with the delicious food and fantastic service. The ambiance and cleanliness were also great. They have various other promotions throughout the week, so we’re definitely planning to return.
